Effective September 2026
Acceptance Of These Terms
These Terms of Services govern access to and use of the GillyHouse website and any quote request, account or plan inquiry made through it. By using the website, the visitor agrees to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the website.
The website is intended for adults who are residents of the United States. By submitting information, the visitor confirms that they meet this requirement.
What GillyHouse Provides
GillyHouse arranges home warranty plans that cover the repair or replacement of listed household systems and appliances when they fail from normal use. The website describes coverage in general terms only.
The plan documents issued for a specific plan control what is covered, the coverage limit for each item, the service fee, the waiting period and every exclusion. Where the website and the plan documents differ, the plan documents govern.
Nothing on the website is a guarantee that a particular item, failure or repair will be covered.
Accounts And Information Provided
Creating an account requires a name, email address, phone number and password. The visitor is responsible for keeping the password private and for activity under the account.
All information submitted through the website must be accurate and complete. Quotes and plan terms prepared from inaccurate information may be withdrawn or revised.
GillyHouse may suspend or close an account that is used in a way that breaks these terms or appears fraudulent.
Text Message Consent
Where a visitor opts in through the checkboxes on the signup form, GillyHouse may send text messages to the phone number provided. These may include:
- Service messages such as quote confirmations, technician scheduling alerts and service request updates.
- Renewal reminders and plan notifications.
- Marketing messages about home warranty plans and related offers, where that consent was given separately.
Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying a plan.
Permitted Use Of The Website
The website may be used only for lawful purposes connected with exploring or managing a home warranty plan. The following are not permitted:
- Submitting false or misleading information or impersonating another person.
- Attempting to gain access to accounts, systems or data that do not belong to the visitor.
- Copying, scraping or redistributing website content for commercial purposes.
- Introducing malicious code or interfering with the operation of the website.
Intellectual Property
The GillyHouse name, logo, page layouts, text and images on the website belong to GillyHouse or are used with permission. Visitors may view and print pages for personal use in connection with a plan inquiry. Any other use requires written permission.
Third Party Services And Links
Covered repairs are performed by independent technicians matched through the plan. Those technicians are not employees of GillyHouse, and their work is subject to the terms of the plan documents.
The website may link to outside websites. GillyHouse does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Disclaimer And Limitation Of Liability
The website is provided as is and as available. GillyHouse makes no warranty that the website will be free of errors or interruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GillyHouse is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on general coverage descriptions. Liability tied to an active plan is set by the plan documents, not by these terms.
Indemnification
The visitor agrees to hold GillyHouse harmless from claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from the visitor's breach of these terms, misuse of the website or submission of inaccurate information.
Arbitration And Governing Law
Any dispute arising from use of the website or these terms that cannot be settled informally will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where the law provides otherwise. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the extent the law allows.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes about an active plan follow the dispute terms written in the plan documents.
Changes To These Terms
GillyHouse may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the website after a change means the updated terms are accepted.
